Eve Online Greed Pt2

Eve Online Greed Part 2
After Days of Heated Threads and CCP staff on a war path with its users, CCPs Arnar Hrafn Gylfason Eve online Senior Producer has published what seems to be tough luck blog to the members of the game.
The Grim part of the blog is mostly the idiotic references to clothing in reality
Extract from the Blog
“People have been shocked by the price range in the NeX store, but you should remember that we are talking about clothes. Look at the clothes you are currently wearing in real life. Do you have any specific brands? Did you choose it because it was better quality than a no-name brand? Assume for a short while that you are wearing a pair of $1,000 jeans from some exclusive Japanese boutique shop. Why would you want to wear a pair of $1,000 jeans when you can get perfectly similar jeans for under $50? What do other people think about you when they see you wearing them? For some you will look like the sad culmination of vainness while others will admire you and think you are the coolest thing since sliced bread. Whichever it is, it is clear that by wearing clothes you are expressing yourself and that the price is one of the many dimensions that clothes possess to do that in addition to style and fit. You don’t need to buy expensive clothes. In fact you don’t need to buy any clothes. Whatever you choose to do reflects what you are and what you want others to think you are.”

As you can see something is seriously wrong with this scenario as he tries and justifies the cost of virtual Item that holds no function apart from being cosmetic.
And charging people the price of a new Game (well in some cases a few games)
use your brains $80 (plenty of DLC or games)
so CCP justification for mindless prices, because clothes in real life can cost a lot and its only fair that digital clothing reflects that.
It’s a Shame such a good game is going down this path as the developers go to war with their users,
Hopefully other companies keep an eye on this and learn from the Mistakes of CCP and how not to *Improve the game*
Normally this website isn’t for these articles but I felt along with other websites and bloggers I should also express the views of Gamers and show their frustration (at the end of the day we are part of the gaming community and have to speak out when required)
This Shall be my last article on the CCP war
Do enjoy the Thread Naught Part 3
