Hello everybody, and welcome to my den. People have been doing things on this site and I thought it would be a good idea to write my first article. While in the den,we’ll talk about recent events as well as criticize an early access game. This is happening for reasons… So Doomfist decided he was going to come out months after he was teased. I’m fairly sure that they stuck Orisa in there because they had to buy time. Her kit doesn’t flow together that well and she’s essentially the lovechild of half the cast, but that doesn’t matter. Doomfist is here now and that’sRead More →

hey that rhymed! beyond the point, but still.  hello, my name is jack, and I wrote the previous article “color me impressed” I’m new here, and so I think this column might be my main thing. what is a post mortem review you may ask? well, we look at games from last generation, and how good they look in this years light. onto the story! so I bought just cause 2, due to the fact that it was on massive sale for like, 4.99 or something on the live marketplace. I knew it was a bit rough, but I wanted to screw around a blowRead More →

So, recently I was playing a Halo 3 match with my brother. he’s not home much, so this is a rare moment. we did this occasionally, and all the time my friends played with me. one of my favorite aspects of Halo 3 was how malleable it was. Want to parkour in foundry? You can do that. Want to have the dumbest race of all time? Go right ahead. Want to kill those dirty blues? Pick up a shotgun and get to it. So it was little bit after playing our match, and it hit me. Halo 3 is one of the most infinite gamesRead More →

Part 2 should be up before Nintendo Switch is released. Apparently this site has been hacked by Anonymous Ghost Gaza, or probably someone who has no balls to attack major gaming websites who sell their credibility to adverts and sponsorships. Attacking a small gaming website which promotes uncensored opinions is shameful. Here’s the article: Is it time to switch to Switch? Unfortunately, not. Nintendo Switch may be the greatest missed opportunity for Nintendo since their failed partnership with Sony to develop a console, the PS1. It is a hybrid, but it doesn’t have the best of both worlds, it neither excels in being aRead More →

As if the game can’t get any worse, it hits a new low today by unleashing 16 DIFFERENT TRAILERS FOR PRE-ORDER DLCs. I never seen anything like this, the addition of DLCs already turn me off the game but these Pre-Order DLCs just disgust me. I hope these DLCs are timed exclusives and would be available to download FOR FREE. The inclusion of DLCs is a slap in the face to so many people who have waited for this game. Personally, I really hope Square Enix delay the game again to include all future DLCs and remove the season pass. Sure people will be angry but atRead More →

Here’s a question all steam users ask: Why do you have to pay to get certain mods? The answer is pretty ridiculous: More unnecessary money. Thus people are getting ripped off. Nexus has its own complications, you have to subscribe to use those mods it provides on the site, and not only that. You have to pay a monthly fee to use the mods on nexus either way. Thats why I do not recommend using Steam’s Nexus to enhance your gameplay experience. Its better to create the mods and get them free on steam community than it is to just ridiculously make money off ofRead More →

Ryuixion here. I’m a new writer for Gamingrev. I hope you enjoy the article. It will be part of a series of articles by me that examines the current problems in gaming. Downloadable content, or more commonly known as DLCs are additional content created for a released video game. They usually come after the game…but there are also DLCs that come on the released day of the game (Day One DLCs). Back in the PS2/Xbox generation, DLCs already existed although these are mostly free and the content are usually add ons like costume or maps rather than content integral to the game. DLCs back thenRead More →
